What do you think of when you think of a cafe?

A warm beverage? A place to meet with friends? Something to eat? Sights & smells? Stimulating conversation?

For me, the image of a cafe captures what ideally a language learning experience should be:

• Out in the community
• Part of your daily routine
• Relaxed
  
• stimulating
• social
• warm
• natural
  

So this blog will be about the experiences & observations of as well as ideas for living ESL out in the real world.
